The Adventure Tents in Banteay Chhmar offer guests a unique camping experience. The tents are set up in the main temple area in close proximity to restroom facilities.
First day:
- 12:00 pm: Welcome to Banteay Chhmar Community-Based Tourism (CBT) office. Lunch prepared by a women’s group in the CBT restaurant.
- 2:30 pm: Visit the Banteay Chhmar Temple and Ta Prohm Temple by walking through the village as well as the Soiries du Mekong Silk Center (SDM)
- 7:00 pm: After a rest in your tent camp enjoy dinner in the temple with traditional wooden torches. Listen to traditional music played by local villagers. (Picnic dinner or dinner with tables).
Second Day:
- 8:30 am: Enjoy breakfast at your tent camp and departure to other destinations
Services included: Meals (1 lunch at CBT restaurant; 1 dinner & 1 breakfast at tent camp) English-speaking tour guide first day. Drinking water for each meal. Temple entrance fee.
Services Excluded: Other personal expenses such as drinks (soda, beer, wine, juice… etc.)

The tent location, services and activities are subject to weather and road conditions. Every possible effort will be made to find comparable alternatives in the event of severe weather conditions or other unforeseen difficulties.
Arrangements can be made to set the tents up elsewhere such as the Cheung Kru Baray. If interested, please ask the CBT members about other locations and additional pricing.
