Sokha’s Farm

Sokha Youn has spent his whole life around farms and agriculture. He is passionate about farming, teaching others and working cooperatively with the community. Sokha’s Farm offers a unique experience in Banteay Chhmar. The farm features a mud-brick bungalow and a larger contemporary house on two hectares. Sokha is developing the land as an organic permaculture farm and you will be able to learn about his plans and maybe help him prepare and manage some crops.

    Farm details: Northwest of the temple about 800m from the the Banteay Chhmar CBT office.

    • 1 mud-brick bungalow with 1 double bed cotton sheets, blankets, pillows…can arrange an extra bench bed for one person (see photo above)
    • $15 per night
    • Fan-only: the mud-brick design keeps the temperature comfortable
    • Western-style toilet and shower
    • Electricity 24/7
    • Provides drinking water, candles, mosquito coils and shampoo
    • Hammocks to relax in; table and chairs
